1. Born and resident in Harare, Zimbabwe 2. Completed Hifz as well as Alim course under his father Moulana Musa Menk 3. Completed degree in Shariah in Madinah Munawwarah. 4. Coompleted Iftah (Mufti) course at the Darul Uloom Kantharia. 5. Currently teaches at Darul Ilm in Harare. Imaam at the largest Musjid in Zimbabwe, the Ridgeview Musjid. Conducts educational and humanitarian outreach programs for the indigenous Muslims. 6. Defends Islam through the print and other media. 7. Lectures regionally as well as internationally.
Ismail ibn Musa Menk was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. After completing Hifz and initial studies under his father (also a hughly respected scholar) he went on to graduate in the Faculty of Shariah at the University of Madinah (Saudi Arabia). He continued further studies at the Darul Uloom Kantharia (India). He is currently the Imaam of the largest Masjid in Zimbabwe, the Ridgeview Masjid. He is also a lecturer at the Darul Ilm in Harare. He is engaged in a wide range of Islamic programmes, a counsellor for Marriage, Aids, Drugs, etc. He is widely respected across the globe. He method is simple, straightforward, clear and effective using only highly authentic content.

He completed his hifz and recitation courses at an early age and learnt the Arabic and Urdu languages whilst studying Shariah under his father. At the same time he attended an Academic College in Harare where he completed his secondary secular education. He then attained a degree in Shariah from the University of Madinah and later specialised in Iftaa at Darul Uloom Kantharia in Gujarat. He is a broad minded, tolerant motivational speaker who has won the hearts of many. He teaches at the Darul Ilm in Harare and finds the time to attend many international religious conferences, seminars etc. He is also Imaam at the Arcadia Masjid in Harare. He has been invited on lecture tours to many countries. He contributes towards the Islamic content of various media networks and is an experienced social worker and counselor. He enjoys spending time with the underprivileged.
