About Mufti Ismail Menk

Ismail Musa Menk was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. He was tutored by his father who is a well known scholar and Da'ee. He completed his hifz and recitation courses at an early age and learnt the Arabic and Urdu languages whilst studying Shariah under his father. At the same time the attended an Academic College in Harare where he completed his  secondary secular education.
He then attained a degree in Shariah from the University of Madinah and later specialised in Iftaa at Darul Uloom Kantharia in Gujarat.
He is a broad minded, tolerant motivational speaker who has won the hearts of many.
He teaches at the Darul Ilm in Harare and finds the time to attend many international religious conferences, seminars etc. He is also Imaam at the Arcadia Masjid in Harare.
He has been invited on lecture tours to many countries. He contributes towards the Islamic content of various media networks and is an experienced social worker and counselor. He enjoys spending time with the underpriviledged.
Each year he spends the month of Ramadhaan with a far off community explaining the Qur'aanic teachings. This work is all done solely to earn Allah's Pleasure without any monetary gain or remuneration involved.

Dr. Khalid Abdullah Tariq Al-Mansour Dr. Al-Mansour is an International Attorney and Businessman. His college education was obtained at Howard University, where he majored in Philosophy and Logic, and at the University of California School of Law at Berkeley where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. He is a Phi Beta Kappa recipient and is listed in the World's Who's Who in Finance and Industry, International Who's Who in the Arab World, Who's Who in Public Affairs, Royal Blue Book of London, International Who's Who of Intellectuals, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in California, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in Black America. Dr. Al-Mansour has spent most of his adult life as a businessman/lawyer, intellectual, religious activist, author and teacher. His business and professional interests include co-founding the International Law Firm of Al-Waleed, Al-Talal & Al-Mansour, representing the O.P.E.C. interest of the famous Los Angeles trial, I.M.A.W.C. vs. O.P.E.C.; and serving as a co-founder and director of the Saudi African Bank (SAB), the United Bank for Africa (UBA) and the World United Bank for Africa (WUBA).

About Shaykh Abu Adnan
Shaykh Abu Adnan is from the family of our beloved Prophet Muhammad salallahu alayhi wassalam.

He is currently the Amir of the Global Islamic Youth Centre in Sydney, Australia.

He is involved in

• presenting informative lectures on a regular basis to a variety of audiences,
• delivering Juma’ah Khutbah
• assisting and training potential Islamic speakers
• playing a lead role within the Sydney Muslim community.

Shaykh Abu Adnan also helped set up the Islamic College of Australia and currently holds the position of Deputy Principal at the college. He teaches many authentic Islamic courses concerning Fiqh, Tafseer, Seerah, Aqeedah, Hadeeth and Quranic Sciences, all of which require students to graduate with certified documentation.

Shaykh Abu Adnan has completed various courses for over 15 years. Starting in the early years of his life in Lebanon he has studied various Islamic studies: Aqeedah & Fiqh under some of the prominent Sheikhs. His desire for knowledge eventually found its way to Saudi Arabia where he benefited and studied alongside and under the auspice of some of the most recognized and renowned scholars from Saudi Arabia.

By the will Allah he earned Ijaza in Qura’an Al Kareem ( Sanad ) followed by B.A in Islamic Studies and graduated with a high distinction. Currently he is studying to complete a Masters Degree in UsoolaDeen.

A debate by Sheikh Ahmed Deedat. Sheikh Ahmed Deedat In 1986, the King Faisal Foundation awarded the King Faisal International Prize for SERVICE TO ISLAM, to a South African who is more or better known than many dignitaries in their own countries. This was the first time that this prestigious award has been awarded to a South African. The recipient of this award was a man totally dedicated to his faith and its propagation and who was not afraid to challenge any one to a debate to settle once and for all the matter, who has the good news right? He was none other than Sheikh Ahmed Deedat, reverently known and called UNCLE by those who hold him in high esteem and admiration. The award came after a lifetime of struggle to propagate Islam and to defend Islam against the onslaught of the missionaries. Finally, he was given recognition by the international Muslim community that he deserved and focused more sharply the attention of the Muslim world on the most important aspect of his work, the challenge to propagate Islam. This was his life long ambition to focus the Muslim world's attention and resources on the propagation of Islam, and at last he succeeded. What a moment of jubilation, achievement and personal gratification for Sheikh Deedat the award was, a turning point in his life. Sheikh Deedat did not have much formal schooling, but he was self-taught through experience and a penchant for reading, debating, discussion, and a profound sense of commitment to a mission and goal. He was driven and goal oriented. He was focused and never let up until the job was done. He was sharp, perceptive, forthright, fiery, and daring in his challenge of those whom he debated, particularly against those who equal his missionary zeal and sense of audacity. Formal schooling did not destroy his creative prowess, his tenacity, ambition, drive, and sheer daring to swim upstream. Sheikh Deedat was more a scholar of the Bible than the Qur'an, and was more familiar and adroit with its teachings. He had an insight and perspective of the Bible which made many Christians he came into contact with rethink and re-examine their faith, particularly those aspects of the Bible and the Qur'an that deal with the divine mission and life of Prophet Jesus. Sheikh Deedat fell ill in 1996, shortly after his trip to Australia, which was a momentous tour. He gave one of his most passionate talks in front of a capacity crowd in Sydney, on the theme Easter: A Muslim viewpoint. This was his last lecture before he suffered a stroke, and he has been bedridden since then. He is still as alert as ever and his sharp memory to identify faces and events has not left him. When people come to see him that he has not seen for many years, they are amazed to see him recollecting spontaneously who they are and where he has met them. May the Almighty Allah restore his health, and make the remainder of his days sweet and the life to come even sweeter, Insha'Allah.
